five years ago, i started on a contract with morgan stanley to create a huge global time tracking web bit of software. it took fourteen months of my life, but the people i was working with was one of the best groups ever. after that i've bounced around different consulting gigs. most of the team is dispersed now. a few months back the handful who remained got transfered over as full time employees.

we still keep in touch. one of the ex-coworkers is throwing party tonight, it will be the first time i'm seeing them since the full time situation. it's the ex-coworker's wife's birthday, she works for fotolog -- i'm going to pitch an idea to her about them sponsoring me for the globeroamer trip. we'll see what happens.
