la paz, bolivia
during breakfast, t-corazon.se convinced me to join her to uyuni and the solar. so i had a free day to wander around la paz. or so i thought. i spent most of the day with the fbi, not by choice. (that is a long story, for another day maybe flashback 2015)
when i had gained my freedom, the light was amazing so i shot a few rolls of film and prep for the yet another overnigt bus.
i head to the met once or twice a year. it is my favorite museum in the world, because it is my home museum. i know where everything is, yet i still get to discover new things all the time.
to be fair, outside new york, i've only visited a handful of museums multiple times. i needed four different sessions to go through the louvre -- it was like pulling teeth. musee d'orsay is great. every time i pass madrid i feel a duty to see guernica in reina sofia.
the image is from memorial day, the start of the summer, i can't believe the summer is almost over.
i will likely make it to the met labor day monday.
