I arrived at the darkroom at 8pm. it was a beautiful day out and didn’t want=
to waste any of it. but work still has to get done every hour I can hammer a=
way at the mountain of work I have to take.

tonight it was only an hour. five more prints done.=20

all the mechanicals are done. now it is time to get to the real work. the pa=
rt where I have to decide what to print; think why ever did I shoot that ima=
ge for; is this even printable.=20

two hours and ten prints tonight.=20

this is probably the best of the evening, though not great.=20

actually i am not done going through all the negatives. I figure I will end u=
p printing about 3 images a roll. that makes about 700 pictures I need to pr=
int. =20

this was at the asian american pacific islander heritage festival. i thought then i would be the next seminal photographer for chinatown, i haven’t kept up my side of the deal there.

had to find the Jordanian embassy in a suburb of tel aviv. that actually was=
n’t too bad. the problem was they didn’t like my passport photo on copy pape=
r. so I had to trek around looking for a little photo studio to take my pict=

It was the long day and I had to say what little I knew of seven different l=
anguages. (English, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Armenian, amharic, and=
greek). granted for almost all the languages I know maybe nine words.=20
